
Soaphead Church--two paralegals and a coffee-jerk--play D.C. area clubs to promote
their self-titled, self-financed album. To date, they have sold 150 albums.

- Center: At a large hall in College Park, Maryland, the band plays to a sparse
crowd, comprised mostly of friends of the band. Despite this, they manage to pick
up a few new fans and sell a few albums and t-shirts

with and give a complimentary album to a music store manager in the hopes of getting
some in-store air-play
